Like last month or so we went to the north shore to go get some shrimp! We decided to go to mackys because we had a coupon from the entertainment book. It was $2 off a plate so instead of paying $12 we only had to pay $10 each. I must say this shrimp was DELICIOUS!! We both got the garlic shrimp which is apparently the most popular-and with reason! I'm not exaggerating how yummy it was! The plate was well proportioned: it had about 7 or so pieces of shrimp, rice, salad, and a slice of pineapple. The shrimp was made so well! The pineapple was also yummy-not sour at all! We went later in the afternoon so it wasn't crowded. Our plates we're surprisingly made so quickly! I love this place because the food was ono, the staff were nice, and the wait wasn't long at all =)
Went to ihop like last month and ordered my usual..a short stack =) the waitress was soo nice! On our receipt there was this code thing that offered free short stacks!! I'm not sure how long ihop is doing this but you just have to call the number on your receipt, take the automated survey and write down the code on your receipt. Simple right? (If you don't know what a short stack is, it's 3 pancakes). Anyways, according to the receipt, you have 30 days from when you came to ihop to redeem the offer. Also, it's one free short stack per check. The waitress who served us gave my friend and I extra receipts so that we can get even more short stacks =) However, I've never actually redeemed my receipt yet =p My friend did though and she said it worked! But ya if ihop is no longer doing this, I suggest keeping a look out for their other deals cause honestly this place is a bit pricey, but I feel like they do have nice deals every now and then.
Tried out the brunch buffet with the fam bam and it was yummy! I really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. I like that they had different choices at their buffet-ranging from seafood, to breakfast, to starches. They also had a little section for dessert, but the little cake pieces go fast! They also had an ice cream machine. My favorite part of the restaurant is that it's surrounded by water with koi fish, and other fishes in it! They also have a nice waterfall and there also were some ducks that stopped by for a swim lol. I would come here again and maybe eat outside this time. The only thing with that is you would have to walk a little farther to-and-from the buffet area. But overall I really enjoyed myself!
Went to Like like drive inn for the first time ever! I tried their saimin and it kept me ohh so warm =) The waitress was so nice too! Depending on what meal you order, it'll come with dinner rolls (our saimin originally doesn't but our waitress gave us some anyway). We also tried their ice cream which was a nice touch to a yummy meal =) This place has been around for forevers so I felt happy that I finally got to go =)
Went to curry house in the ala moana mall a while back and got my usual! (I've honestly never tried to order someting else before lol). Think it's called a spicy seafood curry or something like that. It was delicious as always!! I love it when food is delicious, filling, and very inexpensive =)
So here's a clear hanging organizer i got from ross. I love this thing! I've wanted one of these things but wasn't really sure if they sold them around. So when i saw this i got so excited =) Right now I only have some accessories but since this thing has so many pockets [front and back] i'm sure it can fit soo many different things. I got it for $12.99. This is great, especially if you want to conserve space, since you can just hang it in your closet!!
So I never really purchase anything from target only cause I'm kind of a wal mart gurl haha. But anyways I got this cutteee bag and a couple of compact mirrors for a great price! Can you guess how much the bag was? hmm?? haha well it was in the clearance section and I got it for $20.98, while the original price was $41.99! scoree!! So glad I saw this purse cause my usual bag was kinda falling apart on the handles. I got the mirrors for 2 for $5. Really happy I snagged these mirrors cause I've been on the search for some compact mirrors! haha. Also, while we were at target some guy came up to me and gave me a $10 bill!! crazy right?? idk why he did it but he just handed it to me and said "just a little blessing for you" or something around those lines. I was kinda confused as to why he gave me the money but I'm grateful! Soo nice right?
